I'm Kat, owner of Kat's Kitchen. I live in Dane Bank, Denton, with my husband and 3 children. I always enjoyed baking with my own mum as a child and continued to bake when I moved out of our family home. After becoming a mum in 2010, I realised that being able to make a delicious cake wasn't going to be enough for birthdays - I was going to have to learn to decorate cakes too. Needless to say, the first few birthday cakes tasted amazing but were a little bit 'interesting' to look at. It must have taken until Theo was about 7 for them to look anything like I was intending! I now have 3 born and bred customers who seem to thrive on challenging me every birthday with something new. After a few years of making cakes for family and friends, I was encouraged to begin selling my cakes - and so Kat's Kitchen was born.

 

I take pride in every single cake that leaves my kitchen, making sure each one is the best it can be visually, but definitely most importantly, that it will taste delicious.
